Basic Brekfast Smoothie

Everyone knows the classic Blueberry, Strawberry, Banana combo and when you add some honey and milk it becomes the lovelyist and simplest smoothie there is, I like to add big chunks of fruit into my smoothies to give it a little extra something but truth is smoothies are so different depending on the ripeness of the fruit and your taste buds that's really they're totally down to preference!

But here's the recipe anyway... :)

1 Banana
6 Strawberries
A hand full of Blueberries
A tablespoon of honey
As much milk as you like
Then just blend as much as you like!

Haha told you it was preference!

Gracetown-San Cisco

As anyone who read my old blog will know, I am not a picky music listener, I love chart music, independent bands and artists, old music, and if I give it a chance, there are some rock bands that I actually really like! But my all time favorite band ever are without a doubt, San Cisco. A small independent band from Australia who always, always, always make me happy! If you like beachy chilled out music then this band is so for you! I first heard their music about 3 years ago, when a friend introduced me to the songs Fred Astaire and Awkward. These are super fun songs and the album that they are on I have had for years, I then went to a concert that they did in the Manchester Deaf Institute which is a super tiny venue and they played music from their first album and honestly I just couldn't believe hoe good they were. I never expect bands to be better in real life than on the radio and I've only experienced that very few times but without doubt San Cisco were incredible. Now that they've released their new album I have literally been listening to it non stop and already know all the words to all the songs!

I don't think its everyone cup of tea but I personally think its beautiful, actually I think all their songs are beautiful!

Here is a couple of particularly likable songs for you to try out...

I cant even explain my love for these guys!

Thanks for reading as always!!!

Who are your all time favorite band?

Trying Tanya Burr's Cookies!

Today I thought, as I felt like doing some baking, that I should try the coveted Tanya Burr's Cookies recipe for the first time, and that was definitely a good idea! I followed this Click here for recipe almost exactly ( I always put my own spin on things) and they turned out pretty amazing! All I did to change it up was to put drinking chocolate in instead of coco powder and added more milk to make them slightly thinner and more gooey!

I will be making these way more often and anyone who hasn't tried them yet (not many people) really should!

And for a little life update, I have a job trial on Saturday as a waitress! How exiting! I have actually never been a waitress before so any tips would be super welcome!

Sorry for the super short post today But I have spent most of the day preparing for future fashion posts that will be coming soon! I am also looking forward to putting some really high standard photography on here when I start studying it in September!

Picking Favorites

As an urban decay devotee I felt obliged to do a favorites as one of my first posts. Now there are so many amazing urban decay products that I am absolutely in love with but I thought for the sake of my fingers (and our brains!) I would keep it short and talk about my three go to lifesaver products!

First of all lets just talk about the biggie here, The Naked 1 Eye shadow Palette is super well known in the blogging world and everyone loves it so its no surprise that I do too. I use these eye shadows almost everyday for a muted and natural wash of color over my eyelids, however these shadows are so easily build-able too, so during the day or going out at night with a smokey dark eye these shadows are actually awesome. Most people say that their favorite color is half baked, which is a lovely color, but its not mine, mine is virgin. Yeah the light one at the very end of the pallet! This it because it is SUCH a beautiful highlighter for the inner corners and brow bone! also, I am in love with Sidecar too, that's my favorite wash over color, Its super muted but rosey and sparkly!

Now onto the eyeliner, "Perversion" is such a lifesaver for me as it has the thinnest applicator and stays on all day, literally all day, no kidding, no flaking, no mess, all day. Even other eyeliners that were more expensive (such as the benefit "They're Real" eyeliner) flaked off extremely quickly on me, and i'm not sure about anyone else but the application wasn't too smooth either, and that was £5 more than this one. At£15 I really do think it's a steal!

And finally, the lightest and wetest yet best coverage foundation I have used in a very long time. Here's the catch, my opinion on foundation is only comparable to high street brands such as Rimmel and Maybeline so i'm not really sure how good this actually is, but to me it feels super light and drys nicely leaving your skin super soft and has really nice coverage. I've never tried Mac or Nars however I will definitely buy Nars sheer glow soon and do a comparison!

Overall I think that urban decay is a simply brilliant brand that is mainly appreciated for its eye products but should be known for much more! Hopefully people reading this can trust my opinion as i would never lie! But i would say check out a few other reviews before purchasing as i'm not a beauty guru after all!

Whats your favorite brand?

Let's take the Train to Anywhere

Photo found on Google

This is such a pretty quote! I am so passionate about travelling and I am looking forward to going to everywhere in the future, but mostly, I am dreaming every day of visiting the beautiful Italy. That's been my dream all my life. I have always wanted to travel and I think that's because in our family we have never really had the money to travel however it has just made my dreams bigger and now I am looking forward to having finished education and being able to just jump on a train and go anywhere!

Italy is my main dream because I feel like its such a beautiful and interesting country, however there are so many other places that I want to go such as Brazil, all of America, China, Japan, Africa...I mean i'm having to list whole continents because I cant narrow it down! But we get the idea,I want to go everywhere, and hopefully in the future when I can save up enough money I can take you all with me on the journey!

Where do you want to travel?

Current Favorite Candles

Recently I have been slightly obsessed with watching films in bed with incense and candles burning, and therefore I have been developing a growing love for them, I am obsessed with the smell of smoke (slightly weird, maybe?)  and when its accompanied with the sweet smell of these candles I literally can not resist! Here I've picked out my favorites and although its a weird mix, I still love them together *hahaha!*

Mango Fandango
This is the sweetest, strongest, fruitiest smelling candle i have ever had. Its actually SO GOOD! It has some kind of chili stuff in it (hence the hot, hot, hot!) and I'm not really sure what that does other than look awesome but regardless it smells and looks absolutely lovely! I don't know where you can buy this other than cute independent gift shops but if you seek you shall find! (also I got it for my birthday so I don't even know where I got it from! )

Buttercream Yankee Candle
This candle is also super sweet, but in a sugary way instead of a fruity way, for me, it's such a comforter. I also love how when you light this the flame is super big because the wick is so big! I got this from my grandparents because they didnt like the smell, if your one for the freshest smelling candles then this candle probably isn't the best, but I like such a wide range of candle scents I honestly couldn't say! I would say this is a more wintery candle as its very comforting but I am always looking forward to winter so for me that is so never a problem! Haha :)

Incense Sticks
I was given these incense sticks in this adorable elephant holder for my birthday from Cyprus (my grandma visited there) and I am totally in love! I cant say much about incense other than I will definitely be buying more of it in the long stick form! The scent is lemongrass and there are also some Tropicana ones in yellow, they smell super fresh and there's something about having all the smoke floating around your room that is super beautiful!

Cranberry Ice Yankee Candle
I have a confession, this is quite clearly a Christmas candle... but it just smells so damn good ok?! I actually bought this two christmases ago and didnt burn it for about a year but recently I have been super into it, the smell is definately warm and wintery however the fruitiness just makes burning it in the summer seem weirdly ok!

What are your favorite candles?
